Carolin Hochleichter born 1977 in Nürnberg, studied cultural sciences at the University of Hildesheim and has realized numerous freelance theatre projects.

From 2001 to 2003 she directed the ‚Nachtbar’, a regular nightclub at Stadttheater Hildesheim, and worked as artistic director for the international theatre festival ‚transeuropa 2003’. Subsequently she became assistant to Matthias Lilienthal for the opening season of Hebbel am Ufer in Berlin.

Since 2004 she is working together with Hannah Hurtzig on the project ‚Mobile Academy'.

She is married since April 2005.
