"Mobile Academy is a temporary institution
frequently changing its location.
It offers to students in the fields of theatre and fine arts an intensive
program involving one thematic focus. Field research and theory are
combined
with theatre, literature, architecture and activism in a three-week
production unit. The model of this Art-Academy combines interdisciplinary
courses with fieldwork, theory and activism. The Mobile Academy not
only
teaches techniques and methods of actual art production, but also
experiments with strategies to avoid art and artistry: Learning always
means
to confront ones own prejudices."
